According to Uncyclopedia, zombies are defined thus:

Zombies are an improved form of human that are often found engaging in mindless consumerism, discussions about American Idol, neoconservatism and the consumption of brains or raping and mutilating other motherfucking human beings.

The zombies created by concept artist from Manuel Augusto Dischinger Moura (or Manuhellfor brevity’s sake) go a step further – they know Kung Fu and other crazy martial arts. The 27-year-old from São Paulo, Brazil has taken some characters from a popular fighting game and given them a zombie makeover.

So while going through my cloest today i happen to find this game. Monster Rancher for the original play station, putting it into my Ps3 and a rush of memories came flooding back to me. For those of you who don’t know what monster rancher is it’s a game were you well…..ranch monster. But thats not it you have to raise your monster from start to end, the end being death. Training and entering your monster into battles from F so S rank to win title of Monster Champion.

The most “Fun” part of this game “and the reason i got in trouble a lot when i was younger” Is how you go about getting the monsters. See the lore of the game was the monsters were trapped in discs that you had to free in the shrine. These Disc translated in “our world” to any Cd or DVD you had laying around the house. Open the Psx Disc drive Put in any random CD and from it a monster would be born. The funny thing was is that you would always get the same monster from the same disc so you had to try a lot to get the monsters you want. To this day Mary j blige album Whats the 411 Still gives me a red dragon.

One down side to this game is that monsters never lasted that long….5 months tops if you were and good rancher.So you could never make it to the higher ranks with your first monster. But i’m guessing thats the point of the game and why monster mixing is in. Monster Mixing lets you take blend two monsters type and stats to make a whole new monster. So i would Mix my older stronger monster into a new Mid level monster that could swipe the lower ranks in the first month. Monster rancher has been on just about every PlayStation console since it’s release on the PSX. Also showing up on the GBA and PC with Monster rancher online.

Over the years this monster rancher series has been…..lacking…..but it will always have a special place in my heart. Anyway i’m off the play pokemon!

I don’t know about the rest of y’all but I’m mad hype about DJ Hero 2 which is coming out this October.  Even though the songs havent been released yet but the artists featured will pleased Hip-Hop heads and the Pop lovers, with some of the returning artists featuring new songs heres a list of the newcomers.  If I didnt mention in my past article this one will feature party mode which supports the mic, so heres the list

Now when is all of this going down you ask?? Well the festivities start September 16 for the press and business folks and open to the public September 18 and ending September 19.

Sony is playing it safe and not announcing a lot out gate but focusing more on it 3D capabilities offering exclusive content for PS3 versions of most titles, surprising Sony is still holding on to PSP lets hope the new titles for the handheld can keep alive.
Here is a taste of what Sony is dishing out for 2010 and 2011

3D you heard it time and time again now Sony made it official, majority of there titles that already have been release and ones slated to be release will be in 3D in a way its bittersweet because the PS3 is already 3D-ready but the biggest pain in the other hardware you will need like a sync box, extra pair of glasses and, the television. I’m not here to shit in your corn flaks about Sony, their new creation Move, and it too will have 3D games and will offered at a cheaper price than Xbox Kentic these are some of the games announced during their press conference PS3/PSmove games (*also in 3D)

Now two thing i want to personally touch on is PS3 exclusive content and the PSP. With Sony giving PS3 owners extra content not found on any other console, its a great marketing tactic to gain more stream in the console wars. Far as handhelds Sony is slowly losing that battle and Apple may take them out so the PSP last hope is a crappy ad campaign…umm yea. The true savior of the PSP will be Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, Persona 3, a DBZ title, and the portable version of Eyepet. Who knows things may turn around at the beginning of 2011 for the PSP.

The biggest highlight would have to be the return of Twisted Metal and it looks great, it has the standard deathmatch with up to 16 player online or 4 player local. A new game mode called Nuke where two factions try to destroy each others statue and there is an added vehicle, helicopters which brings something fresh to the table. Sony took a page from Nintendo’s book by bringing back a classic lets hope it works for them.

The flying pink ball of whatever is back, Kirby has a whole new adventure on the Nintendo Wii and it’s in yarn here is a look at the gameplay and graphic design

Announced a day before E3, Mircosoft will slim down the Xbox 360 for a more sexier look and have 25o GB hard drive and wifi built in all for $299 and has been shipped to retailer today and expect to be on the shelves July 16th

In addition, Project Natal now named Xbox Kinect price and games have not been announced yet but we do have a release date November 4, 2010, at this rate this holiday season someone my settle for a fruit cake because im splurgin on myself this year.
